ALLONS FAIRE DES BAGUETTES

Self-filmed and edited to emulate a vintage-inspired cooking video. The goal of the project was to explore different angles, compositions, and editing effects.

Inspired by art-house film directors such as Eric Rohmer and Luca Guadagnino, this video (and photographic series) depicts the tranquil and mundane summer life of a boy and his bike. Different composition frames were used to create interest. The colour grading was made to look cinematic with a slight vintage and dreamy feel, with the green-tinted shadows and warm highlights.

For my co-op, I filmed and edited this series of informational videos for the “CARE Team” at Conestoga College under the direction of my colleague, who also wrote the script. These videos were posted on Instagram Reels to inform students of these resources.
